More mission capacity.
Same power assets.

Military missions increasingly depend on electrical power in environments where generation and distribution capacity are limited, degraded, or contested. The Intrinsic Power RPeM enables more mission loads to operate on existing generation and distribution assets.

The Intrinsic Power Solution

Real-time Flexible Power Management

The RPeM's AI-driven management system continuously analyzes sources and loads to determine power formats and optimize delivery in real time. The system can simultaneously connect with multiple energy sources of different voltages and frequencies — or a mix of AC and DC power.

Intrinsic's recursive neural network prioritizes power allocation and shifts loads for optimal performance. This automated optimization reduces operator workload and ensures electrified equipment is rapidly charged without manual intervention. The system provides extreme voltage flexibility: 300–800V DC, 12-48V DC, and 120/208/240V at 50/60 Hz and 115/200V at 400 Hz.

The core insight: Tightly coupled energy storage and power electronics — combined with advanced AI management — enable a flexible, resilient power supply that can be rapidly deployed by Warfighters rather than engineers.

Three Defense use cases
Use Case A
Expeditionary microgrid coordination
Coordinating power across generators and high-draw mission loads at the tactical edge — maintaining C2, comms, and ISR even as demand spikes unpredictably.
Use Case B
Flightline support
Powering ground support equipment, aircraft charging, and mission systems on the flightline — delivering reliable, prioritized power without dependence on fixed grid infrastructure.
Use Case C
Installation constrained electrification
Adding electrified vehicles, energy storage, and advanced systems to existing installation infrastructure without costly service upgrades or multi-year timelines.
RPeM System

Ruggedized Power export Module (RPeM)

The RPeM integrates ruggedized bidirectional power electronics, modular energy storage, and Directed Power Management control software to coordinate generators, batteries, and mission loads as a unified power system — operating fully at the tactical edge without external connectivity.

Resilience

Resilience / n+1 redundancy

RPeM units can operate in parallel to each other, the grid, and generators, providing n+1 redundancy for mission-critical power. If a generator or the power grid goes down, the units automatically absorb the load — ensuring continuous power delivery without operator intervention.

Deployment flexibility

Deployment flexibility / reduced mass

With a highly portable 30" × 19" × 18" form factor, 20 modular RPeM units can be deployed on a single 463L pallet. The compact, modular design replaces bulky containerized systems — reducing deployment mass and enabling rapid setup by Warfighters rather than engineers.

Fuel efficiency

Power efficiency / reduced fuel logistics

Onboard energy storage supplements generator output during demand spikes, enabling right-sized generators and smoother load profiles. The result is a targeted 10–20% reduction in fuel consumption — directly cutting convoy requirements, logistics exposure, and cost.

Power management

Real-time overload prevention / Predictive load scheduling

The RPeM continuously monitors electrical headroom and enforces safe operating constraints in real time — preventing overloads and breaker trips before they occur. Flexible loads are simultaneously scheduled to smooth generator demand and maximize available capacity for mission-critical systems.

Commercial-validated technology: The underlying AI-enabled power-constraint management platform has been validated in commercial EV charging deployments — a demanding environment requiring real-time constraint enforcement across heterogeneous loads. The RPeM adapts this proven architecture for Army expeditionary and installation applications.
